In early summer 2009, Lara Lennon sat on the porch of her friend’s home in San Pedro, Belize, and suddenly knew what she wanted to do. Living in the tropical paradise of Belize, Ms. Lennon realized something, for truly special events; there were simply no dress bathing suits glamorous enough for exotic ports of call, formal enough for a destination wedding, or special enough for a honeymoon. And Lemon Crush Belize took root.

Since that time, Lemon Crush Belize has made an international presence by being worn by Miss Belize, Miss El Salvador, Miss Guatemala, Miss Nicaragua, Miss Panama, Miss Mexico, Miss Costa Rica, Miss Honduras and most recently, Miss Cuba. Within the first 6 months of existence, Lemon Crush Belize swimwear is retailed in Palm Springs, Miami, San Pedro and Sussex, Canada.

Her One of a Kind, luxury swimsuits are designed with vintage and antique jewelry embellishments; creating truly individualized, truly unique swimwear packaged in custom made Belizean Hardwood boxes. The hand made in Belize ‘wrap pants’ and ‘wrap dress’ are the newest additions to the inspired collection, joining the swimwear and the ‘barefoot sandals’ to create a complete beach appropriate, sexy silhouette.

Ms. Lennon moved to Belize in early 2006 from Philadelphia, where she owned an antique shop, oriental rug gallery and a women’s boxing gym all in the “Main Line” area. She opened these businesses following the sale of the international, publicly traded company for which she had been the Vice President of Employee Relations.
